Let's see. It seems like there is a ton of things going on right now. I am still working nights. I am in charge of the church nursery. Throwing a friend a housewarming party. Going to The Zac Brown Band Concert in OKC. Friend's wedding. Remodeling the master bathroom. Helping plan a church concert. Sister's 21st birthday, other sister's Wedding.

That makes me tired after listing all the things I have coming up soon. But at the same time it makes me excited. Being in charge of the nursery when we are starting a new church is a bit stressful but I believe everything is going to work out well.

I am actually doing the flowers for my sister's wedding. I will post pics after the BIG day.

Ok nothing really exciting to talk about but I will try to post pics of recent events soon :)

So since my last post I have been on orientation for 7 weeks. I have done 6 weeks on days and they were crazy, crazy weeks. I am pretty sure every kind of weird patient we could have I had them. But I am glad that I was able to have these experiences while I was with someone. I could not have asked for a better preceptor during this time. I have honestly made a new friend after this whole thing. Now I am working nights, which means 7pm to 7am. While at work it's no big deal and even when I get home I am able to sleep. But I have to say it's the day after I work when I don't have to go back is when I feel it the most. I want to get up and not waste the day sleeping but it is so HARD to get out of bed. O well I think I will get the hang of it after awhile. I mean I have to, I am going to be on nights for a LONG time.

We have also celebrated our 1 yr anniversary. On our actual anniversary it was Father's Day so we hung out with our Fathers and that night we had the top of our cake and a bottle of champagne we got on our wedding day also. The cake was actually pretty good, especially for being a year old. Then later in the week Ryan took me to Mahogany's for dinner. It was so yummy and romantic. We had steak, potatoes, and creme brulee. It's still hard for me to believe we have been married for an entire year. It has been great. Don't get me wrong we have had our ups and downs over the year but that is what keeps it interesting and keeps us strong. It has been a rough year in general for me but I could not have done it without Ryan right there by my side holding my hand the entire time. I couldn't ask for anything different. it's been amazing!!!

Our house is coming along. we are so close to having our living room complete and we are about to start working on the master bathroom. I am glad to have at least one room in our house done. Here are a few pics of what is going on around the house :)

So ALOT has happened since I have last posted something. first off I PASSED BOARDS!!! And I am an official REGISTERED NURSE!!!! I have already worked 4 shifts with my preceptor. We have had pretty good patients but one crazy one!! But I am so glad to be getting this experience with someone with me and not when I am all by myself :)

Secondly, I GOT A NEW CAR!!! well not a new new car but a new car for me :) it's a Silver '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. and I LOVE IT! I will have to post pictures very very soon!

So this month I am working the night shift and it has been going pretty good considering. But when I do work I feel like all I do is sleep and work, sleep and work. Because I feel that way I am glad that I only work 3 nights a week instead of 5 or I think I would feel like I could get NOTHING done all week long. Last night I worked my first 12 hour night shift. It wasnt too bad... actually kinda boring which made the night go by really REALLY slowy. But I was ok with it b/c tonight will be super busy.

I really need to work on our bedroom to make it darker. It makes it harder to sleep during the day when i can see the beautiful sun shiny in the windows. Thinking about using our tax return on blinds.. sounds exciting right?? not really but that is what happens when you get older and own a house, and I am ok with that.

Ryan and I are starting Weight Watchers again. I have gained all the weight I lost before our wedding and I don't like that at all. We are on week 2 and the first week I lost 1 pound and I am sticking to it pretty well this week. So I am hoping to loss way more when we weigh in on Thursday night. Ryan lost 4 pounds the first week.

So this weekend was CRAZY. Friday started with meeting at the hospital, then off to the flower shop to do a wedding since everyone else was working on Valentine's Day flowers. :) I really miss working there. Sometimes when I fill in there I think I picked the wrong profession but then I remember how there are long hours and I will be working on all major holidays. But then I remember that working at the hospital is the same way. So what to do. I guess I will fill in when I can at the flower shop.

After leaving the flower shop I came home and Kristin and I worked on food for Michelle's Baby shower. Which took way longer than we thought. :) But the cupcakes were way cute. Saturday morning was the Baby Shower. Lot lots of fun with great people.

I made letters for them to hang on Ethan's wall.

Sunday helped Kristin wire her house for 3 zone system. Well i actually didn't help much Kristin and I just stood around for moral support. :) It was super cold but we had fun. Her house will be amazing when its done. Then we went to church in Owasso, which I am so excited about the new church. After church we went to Logan's for dinner. It was our kinda Vday dinner. 

I dont really like celebrating Valentine's mostly b/c I have worked at the flower shop for so long! So Ryan and I just went to dinner nothing fancy and I gave him a card and he made me a slide show. nothing special. I like random moments not ones that people say we are suppose to. 

Well this week is full of studying and nothing else. Sounds fun right?? not really... but it must be done....

So I am spending the night at the hospital. Should be interesting. I just keep reminding myself that I would rather do this than drive in it at 6 in the morning. I will miss Ryan though, I wish I could be home bearing the crazy weather with him, but I do need to work so this is best. :)

I spent the whole day studying for NCLEX today. I took a break to go visit Michelle to give her the cute little shirts I got for Lilly and Baby Ethan. I got Lilly a big sister shirt and Ethan a little brother shirt. They are going to look so cute in their shirts together. I will post pictures after Ethan is born to show off their shirts. I finished Ethan's letter for his room and they look so cute!!!

I work tomorrow, hopefully, for the first time since the 11th. I was suppose to work last Monday but they didnt need me so I didnt have to go in. It is always nice but when I get my pay check it is not cool.

Worked on the office last night, which i am letting ryan do whatever he wants to do to that room. Ryan hung some shelves to put his baseball stuff on and a Red Sox picture. and some black curtains. It looks good :) He wants to paint it a gray like color and I think it will look good.
